I wanted to take this opportunity to tell you about something you probably already know, but nevertheless merits saying. Christina Burke began working with my family and I in January while we were still in Washington state. She sent us numerous listings, a welcome packet, and answered many questions through email and over the phone. She was always professional, courteous, and helpful.
When we finally arrived in Richmond Hill, we were forced to stay in a hotel with our dog. Soon the hotel became unbearable and we found another hotel. This hotel, however, did not accept pets and plus, our dog was having difficulty adjusting to hotel accommodations. Without hesitation, Christina volunteered to take Tucker into her own home where he remained for four weeks. This was a tremendous burden lifted off of us and we thank her very much for this act of kindness.
Now that we have closed and moved into our new home, I can truly say that of the three houses that we have bought in the past, this purchase has been the most difficult - through no fault of Christina's. She had to deal with an uncooperative and difficult seller, seller's agent, and relocation company. To add to the difficulty, the seller and the relocation company were out of state and we and the seller's agent were outside of Hinnesville.
But through it all Christina always had our best interests as her priority. She negotiated relentlessly on our behalf to get the best deal that could have been gotten from the parties involved and even offered to assist the mortgage broker to ensure meeting a short suspense close date. She was always available - week day and weekend, day and evening; and always returned my calls promptly. I know that Christina also has a husband and two children to care for. Balancing the needs of her customers and the needs of her family can be difficult, but Christina seems perfectly capable of doing both - with excellence.
Christina earned every penny of the commission on this sale and we will recommend her and Coldwell Banker Holtzman, Realtors in the future.
